info
I respectfully acknowledge the Wurundjeri People of the Kulin Nation, who are the Traditional Owners of the unceded land on which I live, work and create. I pay my respects to Elders past, present
and emerging.
Here you’ll find info about the e-commerce print shop. If you’re looking for artist info please visit the about page ︎︎︎
My print shop is entirely independently/artist-owned and ethically run. All artworks are printed and shipped from Melbourne / Naarm using only local small businesses / independent printers.
Buying art/prints directly from creatives and our small businesses is the best way to support us! Thank you!
I am committed to the continued development and improvement of sustainable and ethical practices within the business and have provided ample information on production and practices for the purposes of full transparency.
︎︎︎ Sustainability & Production
Sustainability is a fundamental value of mine and I am deeply committed to holding it at the forefront of everything I do, personally and
in business.
Sustainability has been held at the forefront of the development & production of all these fine art prints. I have sourced aligned partners to produce the highest quality prints with the smallest ecological footprint possible. The paper stock has been carefully curated for its high quality, look & low ecological impact. Each print is made to order and the good news is that short-run printing (print on demand) is more resource-efficient than offset or large-run. Printing on an as-needed basis eliminates the impact of wasteful overprinting.
The process is water-free, and ink cartridges are recycled through Close The Loop. No solvent inks or resin-based papers are used. The minimal paper offcuts are used for samples or in the case of smaller scrap, re-pulped.
Cotton fine art papers use cotton linter, a by-product from the textile and oil industries. Because cotton paper recycles discarded linter, it has no extra environmental impact. No cotton is grown specifically for paper, and linters would go to waste if it weren't for the production of cotton paper.
Tubes and print boxes are made from recycled materials, and are recyclable (if you don’t plan to reuse them). Where possible, all plastic protective packaging is replaced by paper and the use of tubes and print boxes avoid the need for wasteful plastic-based bubble wrap/void fill/excessive packaging. Any additional collateral (such as a care card) is made from recycled paper and is kept to a minimum.
These prints are made with the very best materials: museum grade fine art paper and Epson UltraChrome HDX aqueous inks.
Archival pigment prints will last for 80+ years under the correct conditions.
Further care information will be provided on a care card and via email upon ordering.
︎︎︎ FAQ
How many prints are in each edition?
There are 60 of each size at 8x12” 12x16” 16x24”
& 30 of each size at 20x30” & 28x42” (Only Circular #2, #3, #4).
The quantity of limited editions of prints is designed to allow for the use of the highest quality archival fine art paper (310gsm) that will (literally) last a lifetime whilst keeping the price range reasonable.
Please note that some artworks come in 3 sizes and some in 5 sizes. This will affect the total number of reproductions of each artwork.
Do they come in a frame?
No, the prints are sold alone without a frame. Unfortunately at this stage, it is a much more viable option to get the print framed by your trusty local framer once it arrives to you.
Please consider the potential costs of framing before purchasing a print. You can reach out to your framer of choice for a quote.
Your print will arrive in protective material however it is recommended to get it framed as soon as possible to prevent any damage.
Prints should be framed by an experienced professional who uses archival materials and UV resistant glass/perspex to preserve maximum quality and maximise the lifetime.
If you intend to buy a ready-made frame, it is recommended that you ensure it still has the above qualities if possible or acknowledge that you may not get the same longevity of the artwork.
