Her practice has been heavily influenced by her curiosity of the world, people and environments. She seeks to explore the world, human experiences and internal and external landscapes through alternative visual perspectives.
Gertie’s work traverses subliminal & cosmic phenomena.
Gertie has travelled extensively and studied in both Melbourne and Germany. She keenly expands her creative practice through photography and travel writing - finding inspiration in diverse natural landscapes, arts & culture and diverse urban experiences.

Currently working freelance, Gertie is available for projects remotely and physically in Melbourne and Worldwide.

In 2022, Gertie began a personal pursuit of combining advocacy and art through capturing candid experiences throughout people’s (particularly women’s) rites of passage including matrescence & birth.
